The flows coming into Lake Shasta are stilll high. The water is pretty clear, just big. The river above Simms is where you should look to go to find a suitable spot, although it could be rather high for now. For flies, the Salmonflies should be moving around plenty in the top end of the river, large Rubberlegs in brown and black should be on your setup always. Look for March Browns and PMDs to come off from time to time. Zebra Midges in 16, red and black, should be in your box too. We're looking to see this river come into shape on the top end soon!

McCloud Reservoir: The reservoir has been topping up
