So what is SWLT???  It's something the Queen of Hearts has loved doing for decades along our coastline...SWLT stands for "shallow water light tackle".  With the current rockfishing regulations, we can fish tight along the coastline on days like today and use extremely light rods and anywhere from 4 to 10 ounces of weight, making rockfishing not only extremely productive but also lot of fun.  The lingcod were biting today, too, with at least another one or two undersized caught and released for every keeper that went in the sacks.  Great weather on the ocean continues tomorrow.  There's plenty of space still open.  Book online or just simply come on down and check in the shop by 6:15am.
