Monday Returning Trips
- 10:00am Update The Pacifica finished off day one of their Two Day trip with 11 bluefin tuna, with fish up to 140 pounds.
- The Highliner 1.5 Day trip returned with 8 bluefin tuna (100-200 pounds), 160 rockfish and 1 halibut.
- The Polaris Supreme 3 Day trip finished with 28 bluefin tuna.
Sunday Recap
The San Diego wrapped up their Full Day with 5 Bluefin between 60 to 140 pounds for their 34 anglers! Captain Ryan reported that signs looked much better today and that the gear made the difference. He recommended having a 40# flyline setup and an 80# setup for fishing the sinker rig or jigs, 6 to 12 oz sinkers and 150 to 300g knife jigs. The are still plenty of openings throughout the week and it could go off any day now!
Last night's Twilight trip aboard the New Seaforth was action packed ending the night with 36 legal Calico Bass and 75 released, 9 assorted rockfish and 1 Sheephead for 18 anglers.
The Tribute ended their 2 Day charter with 6 Bluefin weighing up to 160 pounds, 130 assorted rockfish and 35 Vermilion rockfish for their 20 anglers. The Tribute is a definite run for their 1.5 Day departing on Tuesday and there is plenty of room!
The Polaris Supreme checked in with us from their 3 Day trip with 28 Bluefin, 25 of which were between 100 and 160 pounds! Be on the lookout for more updates.
Saturday Returning Trips The New Seaforth wrapped up their PM Half Day with 36 Calico Bass and over 100 released, 1 Sheephead, 2 Sand Bass, 1 Rockfish and 1 Sculpin for their 45 anglers! The Twilight last night ended with 5 assorted rockfish and 26 Calico Bass with 100 released for their 19 anglers.
