Shasta Lake is firing on all cylindars right now and we're catching lots of fish daily!  Rainbows, Browns, and Kings are pretty easy to come by right now so its limit style fishing every day.  Water temps dropped back down on the surface and we're seeing 72-73 degrees up top each morning.  With all the Shad down in the lower lake, we're catching lot's of trout up in the 30'-40' range just below the Shad.  Its been an incredible season so far and we're definitely seeing a lot bigger variety of trout making it to the net.  The hot baits are spoons trolled with Chinook Divers, and Brads Killer fishing gear flashers and super baits!  We have a full moon on Friday but it definitely hasn't hurt the bite yet this week.  Its worth mentioning that we've been catching a lot of King salmon this year and it seems like 75' is a good starting point for depths first thing in the mornings.  By late morning we're seeing the Kings push down a bit into the 100' plus range.  Many of our clients are quite vocal about the fun they've had on our Shasta Lake trips this past few weeks.  Its already been a very fun season and we have a lot of great fishing in front of us as well.  We should see great fising into the month of October this year for sure.  Call Jaynie at (530) 510-2925 for more information and available dates for this great fishery!  Thank you!
