The campground and access to the boat launch are open. Only boats with a single electric motor are allowed on Whitehorse Lake. No gas-powered motors. The limit is 2 bass minimum size 13 inches, the limit is 4 channel catfish. Largemouth bass, black crappie, and bluegill are all active. Anglers were finding success over the weekend on soft plastics such as curly tailed jigs and worms in black, white, and chartreuse. Fly anglers were also catching on #12 bead-headed Prince Nymphs and #10 bead-headed Simi-seal leech patterns (black and olive). Channel catfish are being caught on nightcrawlers and small pieces of hot dog.
