The Fall River has been fishing great and was recently stocked. Nymphing has been solid on two-bits, zebra midges, jigged leeches and as always, eggs.Tungsten beed are always a great bet if you’re having a hard time fishing deep. Small black chubbies make great imitations for carpenter ants and can be utilized well for dry-dropper set ups. Fishing a single streamer under log jams can be tricky but another great way to switch up your day. Some other dries that you might want to try are black Midges (18-22), olive caddis (16-18), and PMDs (18) early and late in the day. The Fall is a great option if you’re wanting to beat the heat as it is a spring creek which stays at a nice cool temperature for the trout year round.
