Flows & Water Conditions: Fair-Good; Water temperatures reach low-70s by early afternoon
Clarity: Fluctuating Daily
CFS: 243
Fishing Report & Conditions: Fair-Good
Crowds have decreased but the water temperatures are rising - It’s best to only fish the mornings and monitor the water temperatures to avoid fish fatality. Up near the dam, big lake midges are pretty ineffective now. We are seeing success in much smaller “Crowley-sized” midges. The slower waters have strong Callibaetis and Damsel hatches. The Trico are becoming the dominant morning hatch. The Spinner Fall may end around 10 AM, but the fish will continue to eat them into the early afternoon. Mid-morning, the PMDs are still active and caddis are on and off throughout the day. In the evenings, Caddis and male Tricos are productive.
