Like the Madison, most of the streams in Yellowstone are also under hoot owl restrictions and cannot fished from 2:00 pm to the next day. This goes for stretches of the Yellowstone, Soda Butte, and Slough Creek. For more details on these restrictions, you can visit the Yellowstone National Park website. For flies I would have plenty of golden stones and hoppers
