Hat has slowed somewhat over the past couple of weeks, PG&E is releasing more water from Powerhouse 2 and the levels are elevated throughout the wild fish section down to Britton. Some good fish are taking Rubberlegs in the Powerhouse 2 Riffle. The best hatches have been the Caddis coming off in the late evening. During the day Dead drift and swing Bird's Nests, Fox Poopahs, and Bubblebacks in size 14. Callibaetis will be found in the slower sections between the Powerhouse 2 Riffle and the 299 bridge. Trico spinner falls in the morning on the flats will have you finding fish rising in the seams just off of the weed beds. For the Tricos, a CDC Trico Spinner or the Drowned Trico works well. Nymph-wise, the BP Weiss nymph, X-Mays in #18, or Sweet Peas are great to have along with some Peaches n' Cream.
Hot Flies:
• Lance's Jigged X-May
• Rubberlegs
• Sweet Pea Jigged Baetis
• Pheasant Tails
• Mercer's Missing Link
• S&M Nymph
• Walt's Worm
• Peaches n' Green
• BP Weiss Nymph
