Currently, at Stampede Reservoir, the Kokanee are biting at around 70 feet depth. The Kokanee being caught are slightly larger than those caught in the spring. In the recent fishing derby held at Stampede, a number of 15-inch Kokanee were successfully caught. Anglers targeting Kokanee are having success using lures in pink and purple colors. Stampede Reservoir is currently at 93% capacity.
