There has recently been a large carp die off at Bully Creek Reservoir. At this time, the fish kill appears to be carp specific. If you notice other species of fish dead, dying, or in poor health please contact ODFW Hines office at 541-573-6582.

The reservoir is around 45 percent full and the boat ramp is in great shape. Bully Creek Reservoir was stocked with 2,000 legal rainbow trout in May.

There are some larger smallmouth and largemouth bass available but the majority of the bass sampled recently were less than 12 inches long. Anglers have reported catching some nice crappie this spring. There is a strong year class of age one crappie right now so expect crappie fishing to get even better in a couple of years.
