Update 8:00 PM: The Tribute just called in from the end of their 1.5 Day trip with 46(limits) Bluefin weighing up to 60 pounds, 25 Yellowtail weighing in between 20 to 35 pounds and 46 Bonito for 23 anglers.
The Highliner returned from their 2.5 Day trip this morning with 84(limits) Bluefin tuna, 15 Yellowtail and 40 Bonito for their 21 anglers. There are still plenty of openings for their 1.5 Day trip departing on Wednesday, September 4th!
The Pacifica also returned from their 2 Day trip with 57 Bluefin, 7 Yellowtail and 50 assorted rockfish for 24 anglers. The Pacifica's next available trip departs on September 4th and we have plenty of spots.
The San Diego ended their Coronado Islands Full Day with 61 Yellowtail, 20 Barracuda and 20 Calico bass for 35 anglers.
The Sea Watch wrapped up their Full Day at the Islands with 31 Yellowtail and 27 Calico bass for 24 anglers. There is still one opening left for their Full Day trip on Labor Day!
The AM Half Day on the New Seaforth finished up with 9 Bonito, 30 Barracuda released, 21 Calico bass with 50 released and 3 Sheephead for 15 anglers. The PM ended the day with 1 Yellowtail, 4 Bonito and 42 Calico bass with 100 released for 19 anglers.
The Polaris Supreme also checked in from their 4 Day trip with limits of Bluefin for the first two days. They have 9 fish from 100-205lbs and the rest are in the 30-60lb range. The bigger grade is being caught on jigs at night. The 30-60lb fish have made for some great daytime action and are being caught primarily on a 40# flyline setup.

The Sea Watch wrapped up their Full Day Coronado Islands trip with 51 Yellowtail and 31 Calico bass for their 19 anglers. Captain Ryan said 30# flyline with a 1/0 hook and surface irons on 40/50# line were the best options and that 30# line is strongly recommended for the flyline fishing.
