Water levels have dropped but are holding and still allowing for launching at the main boat ramp and Narcisse ramp. Considerable weeds are still present. Non-motorized boats and boats propelled by gas motors 10hp or less are permitted August 1-December 31. Trout fishing is still poor to fair, due to warmer water temperatures. Bass fishing in the South Lake and Unit 21 continues to be good, with a good ratio of keeper sized fish being contacted. Special Regulation: Minimum size for black bass is 10 inches.
