As of this week, the Upper Deschutes is closed from the headwaters down to the bridge on 40 Road due to the Little Lava Fire. So for now just Wickiup Reservoir and down is open but even that closes for the season on September 30th. As for how it’s fishing, there’s not much to note as fishing has been pretty off and we don’t have a lot of good reports from that stretch.
