Knott Creek Reservoir has been fishing very well. Shore anglers tossing small spoons and kastmasters into deeper water away from vegetation are finding some good fish. Fly fisherman using large leech patterns and damsels from boats and float tubes are catching some really nice fish early and late in the day. Mayflies have been hatching in the late morning and dry flies have been effective if there’s not a lot of wind. The vegetation should start to disappear as the night time temps fall below freezing. Access should remain good until we see some snow.
