The East is flowing at about 85 cfs or so right now and has been fishing very well on both the California side (mostly past the bridge) and the Nevada side of the border. We’ve been getting lots of good reports on streamers and nymphs and still a few good reports here and there on dry/dropper rigs. There are still lots of browns and rainbows in the river and based on some reports it seems as though there are decent numbers of rainbows already moving upstream and into the “Mile” section. The weather has been great, a bit cooler in the mornings but the daytime temps have been great, the water quality on the river has been good. Some patterns to try down there: naked chubby, madam X, stimulator, rainbow warrior, squirmy wormy, pheasant tail, perdigon, zebra midge, darth baetis, sculpzilla, ziwi, Dali Lama, double bunny.
