Fall Chinook fishing has been good. With the rain predicted for this week, the fishing should pick up in the bay and lower river this weekend. Bank fishing on the lower portion of the basin offers decent opportunity for Chinook.

The Salmon River is open for trout fishing. Early mornings or later afternoons are the best times to hit the system. A bit further upstream where the water is more shaded may offer better opportunity.
