Along the Lower Salt River (report courtesy of Sportsman's Warehouse), fishing is rated as good. Trout can be caught on small spinners, spoons, or PowerBait and worms. Fly fishermen should try Caddis Nymphs or attractor-style streamers such as Wooly Buggers and olive / brown / black leeches. Bass can be caught on jerkbaits, small cranks, spinnerbaits, or drop shots on the bottom. Some people are trying a new line of baits such as Crush City "Mayor", ZMan Helculez, and Great Lakes Drop Worms. Once flows begin, which fluctuate year to year, the fish spread out from their stocking locations and flies become much easier to present.
