The lake remained near 54 percent of its storage capacity, and water temperatures dropped into the low sixties. Anglers reported decent fishing for all species. Spotted bass and largemouth took darter head jigs, drop shot, and Ned rigs in 15 to 30 feet of water with green pumpkin and ox blood both getting bitten. Deep diving crankbaits in shad and crawdad patterns took bass along rocky points and bluff walls. White bass went after spoons and small swimbaits in 30 to 40 feet of water. Catfish ate dip bait, garlic nightcrawlers, and mackerel or the three-way rig. Crappie reports were slow.
