False Spring, now Winter is back at least for awhile on the Truckee River. 

Good, because we need 2-3 big storm cycles this month. Then I think we'll be set up water wise pretty well for Summer.

Meteorological Spring is here. This is a fun time on the Truckee River. I always like Spring as the whole river fishes well. We always get our biggest fish in the Spring. Biggest browns almost always. 

So we're coming into the best times to dry fly fish, streamer, and nymph fish. The higher the water gets the more excited I get.
