Winter steelhead fishing on the Nehalem mainstem picked up early this week with some nice fish being reported. The river is in good shape and should be fishable through the weekend. There are no hatchery steelhead releases in the Nehalem so this is mostly a catch-and-release fishery for wild steelhead.

Kilchis River: The Kilchis River is dropping back into low and clear conditions
Necanicum River: The Necanicum River is dropping back into low and clear conditions for the weekend
