For the past two days BFEF volunteers teamed up with Bridgeport Elementary School and a group of their summer program students, ages 5-11.

We took them out fishing on Bridgeport Reservoir. All the kids learned the "Here fishy fishy" dance, along with learning how to tie & bait hooks and catch their own fish. They also learned how to, and some even helped, clean their catches.

Shout out to our generous partners; Ken's Sporting Goods, Eastern Sierra Community Bank and Fishin Mission Foundation who helped us make sure all the kids received free rods, reels & tackle kits at the end of each day.
