Fishing conditions and Hatches: Excellent. Try to fish early to mid mornign or late afternoon into the evening. Midges, Caddis, and Hoppers have been the staple flies these days. Hoppers have worked best with sun still on the water. When shadows take over the water caddis dries should start to produce.
Recommended Flies:
DRIES: Hoppers and Chernobyl ants #8-14, Brooks Hot Creek Caddis, CDC Caddis. Ostrich Emerger Caddis.
NYMPHS: Blooms Gallatin Pupa #18. #20 Flashback Optimidge. #18-20 Zebra midges, 18-22 Tiger midges. #16-18 Flashy Scuds, all colors.
STREAMERS: Try big and dark streamers early and late, #10 Doc's BH in black.
