Water Conditions:
Flows are still raging at 543 cfs as of 4/21. Wading not recommended. Watch out for crumbling bank. Water is warming fast.
Fishing Conditions and Hatches:
Fair to poor
Try to find area's of slower moving water, and stay subsurface until the flows subside. Also try more towards Big Pine as river is wider with no banks.
Recommended Flies:
NYMPH:
Gray/black Optimidge #18, #20 Flashy Black WD40, #16 #18 Brassie, #16 Red Copper Johns, #16 PT's and Flashback Hare's Ear's, #18 Tungsten Psycho
DRIES:
#16-#18 BWO Comparaduns and #16 Parachute Adams, Kauffmans Stimis, #18 Hatch Matcher PMD , Extended Body BWO, EC Caddis
