Water Conditions:
Great flows at 33cfs as of 10/21
Fishing Conditions and Hatches:
Great the water has cleared and the fishing is once again excellent. Better in the morning to early afternoon. Huge Caddis hatches all day long. Fishing Caddis drys in the middle of the day having best results. For nymphing fish very small Midges and Baetis. Some crane flys around as well. Fish Baetis patterns on cloudy days. Fish at the near bank, and the lanes in between the weeds.

Hot Creek: The Rain & Snowmelt Have Caused Dirty Water Which Is Affecting Fly Fishing at Hot Creek
San Joaquin River: The Road to the San Joaquin is curretly closed, call the Visitor Center to find out when it is open
Crowley Lake: Stripping is working better at Lake Crowley than midging for Fly Fishermen
Owens River: The Rainbows Are Coming into the Upper Owens from Crowley making Fly Fishermen Happy
Owens River: Fly Fishing is good at the Owens River Gorge
Owens River: High Flows are making Fly Fishing on the Lower Owens Difficult
Bridgeport Reservoir: Fish at Bridgeport are moving around, the best bet for Fly Fishermen is to fish along the weedbeds
