Because of the flows, there might not be much fishable water on the San Joaquin much longer

Water Conditions: Great the flows are at 73cfs as of 7/11. Flows are as good as they're going to get. Only going to go down from here unless we get some rain. Considering flows were somewhere south of 900cfs this time last year, might not be much in the way of fishable water by the end of this month so get here fast!

Fishing Conditions and Hatches:
Great there are several closed campgrounds down there and trespassing in a closed area will get you an expensive citation. So stay out of all closed campgrounds and areas. We've been getting conflicting reports from the forest service about fishing the water adjacent to the closed campgrounds. Until we hear otherwise, it's probably not a good idea to fish the areas in front of these closed campgrounds.

Not much in the way of stocked fish. All I've been catching have been wild fish and holdovers. I guess the stocking truck hasn't made it's way in there yet.

Lots of stoneflies and caddis. Plenty of Drakes as well. There is a ton of food in the water for these fish right now.
