Tejon Ranch Members and Hunters,
With the new year already here, we wanted to update you on upcoming events with the Wildlife Management Division of Tejon Ranch.
As always, more information can be found by visiting Hunt Tejon or emailing huntinfo@tejonranch.com.
We have five upcoming Wild Pig Management Hunts (WPMHs) this winter/spring. Our first WPMH in December was a success with a harvest rate approaching 60%. We encourage you to book early as spots fill up fast. The dates for the upcoming hunts are:
February 1-3 Open, North and South
February 22-24 Open, North and South
March 22-24 Open, North
April 19-21 Open, North
May 31-June 1 Open, North
To apply for these hunts, please visit Hunttejon Registering with us at this website or talking to Tanice Copeland at (661) 663-4210 is the only way to guarantee a spot on any WPMH; registration with the CA Department of Fish and Game's SHARE program only enters you in a draw for a limited number of spots for the next four hunts. In addition to the Wild Pig Management Hunts, we offer both fully guided and semi-guided wild pig hunts throughout the year.
The High Desert Hunt Club at Tejon Ranch which is Southern California's premier upland bird hunting club is open through the end of March. For more information regarding hunting at the High Desert Hunt Club, please email at huntinfo@tejonranch.com or call (661) 724-1218. Tejon Ranch's Wildlife Management booth will be traveling on display at the International Sportsman's Expo in Sacramento January 10-13 at the Cal Expo and at the Fred Hall Show at the Long Beach Convention Center March 6-10. Please stop by and see us if you are able to attend these shows.
We are wrapping up a successful fall season here on the Ranch and will continue to be in touch with more upcoming events. Please contact us by replying to this email if you have any questions or are interested in coming and hunting California's largest piece of private property, almost 270,000 acres of game-rich beautiful terrain; truly the best in the west.
Sincerely,
The Tejon Ranch Wildlife Management Team
