Water Conditions: No information provided.

Water Temp: Water temp has soared to about 65??F on the bottom across the lake. Algae is not too bad but some stringy stuff here and there. Keep those flies clean. Some surface crud moving around daily here and there also.

WARNING
The lake is much lower than previous years. Watch out for Pelican Point which sticks out way into the lake.

Look for white buoys and pass to the east.

Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Good to Excellent! You'll find that the fish are still in cooler areas - inlets and near springs. 'Big fish spread out across McGee Bay and Big Hilton, also off the point at Little Hilton. Still holding in 13-17 ft of water.

Fishing is tough some days if algae is stringy as fish leave.

North end has fish at Six Bays real deep and some right out in the middle in 13-14 ft. Not consistant - but can be good any day then off the next.

Recommended Flies:
Kent's: #16-18 Olive, Black or Gray/Black Bead Head Optimidge with Green Flashback after the sun gets high. Red/Black if you are staring early. Mickey's: Albino Baron early, Shaft Emerger midday.
