Water Conditions:Fair. The crowds are gone, but fishing has slowed. Some Tricos popping off in the late morning, a few Callibaetis in the evenings, and some caddis activity in the evenings, too.

Angler seeking a real challenge should sight-cast to trout in the fabled "carbon flats" section, and those looking for solace can hike into the freestone section just above Lake Britton.
