STARVATION RESERVOIR: (December 13) We haven't seen any ice. Anglers report good fishing for rainbows, browns and walleyes. Rainbows and browns are now actively feeding at all depths, including the shallows. Crankbaits, spoons and trout baits are all working. Try depths of 10 to 30 feet during the day and shallower areas during the morning and evening hours. For walleye, try bottom bouncing a worm in the flats (at 15-25 feet down) or casting a crankbait into the rocky points. Watch the winds -- they come up suddenly and create unsafe conditions.
