The lower stretches of this river are quite muddy. Traditional baits, flashy spinners and other lures work best in this turbid water. Fly anglers have had good success using sow bugs and midge patterns. All cutthroat trout, or trout with cutthroat markings, must be immediately released from the Great Salt Lake to Echo Reservoir dam.
