Fishing for small rainbows is good. All the ice has melted and the reservoir is completely open water. The water is fairly clear with good visibility. Please respect this privately-owned pond and remember to obtain your Walk-in Access authorization number. You can also see a map of other Walk-in Access areas across Utah.


Hobbs Reservoir is completely open water and the fishing is great! Anglers are having good success using pheasant tails and other subsurface flies from the shore.
