There's open water across the reservoir. Boat anglers are still reporting very good fishing while trolling with various types of lures. Shore anglers report fair fishing with traditional baits. Tom Ogden and his friends fished Deer Creek on Tuesday in their kick boats. They put in at the Charleston access and fished from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. During that time, they caught 10 fish, all rainbows from 14 to 17 inches long. They also hooked several other fish and found more fish as they moved toward the dam. They used size 4-6 beadhead crystal buggers in black/copper and black/red/blue.
