The Firehole has been the most reliable river in our area. For weeks on end the White Miller fishing was terrific. Then some overcast weather rolled in and gave us awesome Baetis emergences. Customers and guides reported risers through out the river. Today will be our last day of strong Baetis fishing for a week. The weather will turn sunny with temperatures into the 60's. This will make for another spell of White Miller fishing. The Baetis fishing will be best around Biscuit Basin but the caddis fishing will be good through out the river. If you're fishing Baetis be sure to have a size 22 dun. These bugs are small this time of year.

The summer crowds are gone and anglers who want solitude and adventure are on our daily docket. For this newsletter, check out Jimmy's Yellowstone Park Fishing Forecast, a...... Read More
