Remington from the Round Rocks Fly Shop in Logan reported great fishing. The water is very clear, but there are numerous leaves floating in the river. Remington mostly caught brown trout, along with a few rainbow trout and whitefish. He was using solitude flash bug and el diablos. Sculpin pattern streamers also worked well towards the evening. Dry fly patterns only seemed to work during the last 30 minutes before sundown. The brown trout are starting to spawn. Take care not to step on the redds (brown trout spawning areas) while fishing.
