Lake elevation is 1,659 feet (97-percent full). Canyon was stocked last week with rainbow trout, and Canyon is one of the top waters in the state right now to throw trout swimbaits for monster bass. Like Saguaro, anglers can draw reaction strikes using jerk baits, crankbaits and, at certain times, spinnerbaits and top-water baits can really come into play. The jerk bait is the main bait.
