Striped bass bite continues to be solid but the trout bite remains slow. More than 30 stripers were weighed in last week and at least that many were caught and released. Biggest was 15 pound but most are six to 10 pounds. Largemouth are becoming more active in Peninsula Cove. A trout plant is scheduled for next week. Big fish of the week was a 17.75 catfish caught by Ryan Cockrell with an anchovy near the rock wall.  (925) 371-2628
