Bass fishing is picking up. An angler last week caught-and-released 12 bass with a brush hog, the largest was 9.8 pounds. Bass are off main lake points in 15 feet of water. Catfish bite is slow. Crappie are near structure and off the dock near the lodge. Best fishing is at night with submersible lights. (209) 274-4739
