Fishing Conditions
The closures for the spawning Rainbows is in effect. From Ennis bridge to the lake is closed and from McAtee bridge up to Quake Lake. These areas will reopen on the third Saturday in May. Before this cold weather we just went through the fishing was doing well on a little bit of everything; nymphs, midges and streamers. Like the rest of our rivers we have had shelf ice forming. This will all break apart as we get into the mid 50's by next week. With the weather seeming to be starting to shift towards more spring-like, Run some Baetis nymphs along with your midge larva.
