State fishseasons closing Nov. 15

The 2007 fishing seasons will close on Nov. 15 at Blue Lakes, Catnip Reservoir, Knott Creek Reservoir and Onion Valley Reservoir. All of those waters are located in northern Humboldt County.

?Ģ Blue Lakes has a limit of five trout. Only boats without motors are permitted and the area is closed to vehicular traffic. It will re-open on the second Saturday in June.

?Ģ Catnip Reservoir has a limit of one trout, with artificial flies or lures, with a single barbless hook. It will re-open on the second Saturday in June.

?Ģ Knott Creek Reservoir has a limit of one trout, minimum size of 18 inches. Only artificial flies or lures with a single barbless hook may be used. Boats must be operated at a speed that leaves a flat wake and in no case, exceed five nautical miles per hour. It will re-open on the second Saturday in June.

?Ģ Onion Valley Reservoir has a limit of five trout. Boats must be operated no faster than five nautical miles per hour. It will re-open on the second Saturday in June.
