Trout big, plentiful at Del Valle

Trout bite has been very good at the south end of the lake, Hetch Hetchy and east and west beaches. Best bait is chartreuse or spring green Power Bait. A 16 pound striper was caught by Bob Hargrove with a swim bait. An 11.25 pound catfish was caught by Danny Hollis in Heron Bay with a Senko. Big trout of the week was a 13.18 pound trout landed by Daryl Hill of San Jose from the south end of the lake. Other big fish include a 12.24 by Hill on the same trip.
