Fishing is good for most anglers at Farmington Pond, but fly anglers are having the best success. One angler fishing near the inlet used a purple and white whirly bug with a silver bead head and caught four large brood stock rainbows. Another angler caught eight trout in an hour from the fishing pier using a worm on the bottom. Anglers have also had success using salmon eggs on the bottom.
