Angler Report

Dave Z.: I saw this largemouth floating on Saguaro two weeks ago. The yellow bass stuck in her mouth had a lure in its mouth. I'm sure there is another side to this story from some angler who had their catch stolen by this 10-pound largemouth. I removed the fish from her mouth but was unable to revive her and it appeared that she had damaged her mouth trying to swallow the fish.
This was the ONLY fish I held that day but it was a doozy!
Fished Saguaro yesterday afternoon (April 1) and caught nine bass. Fished a white paddletail in about 20 feet of water. The fish were relatively thin and definitely post-spawn. Didn't try top-water, but saw lots of fish feeding on top as the sun set.
