With the recent arrival of a few cormorants, fishing has slowed some, but anglers are still able to catch fish. Anglers are catching fish throughout the reservoir, but are having the best success fishing near the inlet. One angler caught ten fish using a green crappie jig relatively close to the inlet simply by casting it out and reeling it back in. Rainbow trout are the most common catch at the pond right now. They are favoring green plastic jigs, spinners, garlic-scented PowerBait, worms and bread.
