: Winds to 48 mph hit the lake early in the week but it has calmed since. Trout bite remains good and catfish bite is improving. Trout are in South Cove and Howden Cove. Catfish weighing 4 to 6 pounds are caught near the Marina. Big fish of the week was caught by Nol Hernandez of Oakland, who landed a 10.5 pound trout in South Cove. (925) 371-2628
