Fishing has improved for tiger muskies. Cody Edwards caught a 33-inch tiger muskie from the shore on May 30 using fly fishing equipment. He tipped his leader with a firetiger-colored streamer. Cody says his secret is moving around until you get a strike. On June 6, Calvin Black and his friend Jerry Hill caught two tiger muskies. Calvin hooked a 37-inch tiger muskie that weighed 14 pounds. Jerry caught a 42-inch tiger muskie that weighed 22.5 pounds. Calvin and Jerry fished from a boat and cast toward shore. Jerry was using a five-inch silver crankbait and Calvin used a four-inch green Rapala.
