Ice is about 6-7 inches thick around most of this lake and many are ice fishing around the dam. Plowed up to Mallard but be careful around this area if you get stuck your done! Pink and green crappie jigs have been the go to hardware with nightcrawlers and similar colored powerbait being the best for bait guys. Good bets also are small minnow imitation jigs.
