Hungry hard fighting Steelhead has been the name of the game this Halloween weekend. Ken and Tyson Reeves fished the Klamath river with me on Sunday and Monday. This was their first time fishing Steelhead on the Klamath as well as experiencing our crazy changing weather. The guys caught and released a dozen adult Steelhead the biggest nearing 6 pounds and 2 feet long. Action was steady both days despite rain and wind at times. Back trolling bait was the number 1 producer but we also caught fish back trolling and casting  plugs. Rubber legged stones and eggs under the indicator was much tougher fishing due to the wind but that bite will pick back up as the weather stabilizes. Winter Steelhead fishing on the Klamath river will continue into the new year. If you're looking for Steelhead action come fish with me on the Klamath river.
