The water temperature is 58 degrees. Last Stock of Trout was January 31", 2018. Striper: High Action: Stripers still very active. Lures producing some good catches are Flicker shad lures in colors: firetiger, black sunset and shad colored. You can also use power baits, but live Shad or Sardines have been working best near the Inlet and Launch Ramp 2 off any of the points. . Blue Gill: No Action. Catfish: Low Action- Anglers did indeed catch some average size cats this week in the west end and in some of the coves using garlic shrimp and anchovies. Large Mouth: Medium action: Mainly smaller 3-4 pound. Anglers are doing well this week using night crawlers, spinner baits, crank baits, and jigs over at the East End. Trout: Next Stock is February 14th, 2018. Carp: Low Action, big carp ready to catch, easy and fun. Use your favorite carp dough balls, along the banks or under heavy cover. Striper: High Action: Working well this week is catching live shad from Skinner over near the Inlet early mornings, also near Launch Ramp 2 area using Sardines that we carry at The Camp Store.
