The water temperature is 54-56 degrees, and water level has dropped about 10ft. & will continue to drop a few more feet. Last Stock of Trout was on Valentine's Day, February 14th, 2018. Many Happy Anglers this past week catching a couple 4 pounders. Striper: High Action: Striper are being caught over near Launch Ramp 2 and near the Inlet, using sardines, shad, spooks, and top water lures. Blue Gill: Low Action: Anglers this week caught Blue gills over at Launch Ramp 2 using night crawlers. Catfish: Low Action: Slow for cats, caught using chicken liver and anchovies over along the buoy line. Large Mouth: Medium Action: Anglers catching Bass over to the right of marina towards East End, try catching them on purple and green robo worms, meal worms, wax worms and night crawlers have been doing extremely well. Trout: Medium Action: Next Stock of Trout will be on February 28th, 2018. Carp: No Action. The water temperature is 58 degrees. Last Stock of Trout was January 31", 2018. Striper: High Action: Stripers still very active. Lures producing some good catches are Flicker shad lures in colors: firetiger, black sunset and shad colored. You can also use power baits, but live Shad or Sardines have been working best near the Inlet and Launch Ramp 2 off any of the points. . Blue Gill: No Action.
